Please join sex and relationship educator Reid Mihalko of?ReidAboutSex.com?and liked-minded couples Friday, June 15th in downtown Los Angeles as we help a major television show document a workshop and a play party so America can learn more about the ethical non-monogamy known as swinging.
Reid will be teaching a workshop called ?Plays Well with Others? (description below) and then hosting a ?My First Play Party? for newbies and ?Varsity? players in The Scene.
From Reid: ?For those of you who know me and know how passionate I am about the media covering sex-positive life in an empowering way with integrity, please know that I used to be a film producer and worked in television years ago, and that I?ve have several conversations with the producers of this show (you?ve probably seen or heard of it, btw), and the producers are letting me design the event and influence how they?re going to document it. This way, I can ensure that they have footage and soundbites that will showcase The Lifestyle in a positive and informative way. For those of you with questions and concerns, please feel free to email me below.?
Whether your just curious about The Lifestyle or have your ?black belt? in The Scene, Part2 Pictures would love to hear from you if you?re interested in appearing on their show (which we?ll reveal to you the night of the taping ? if you?re not okay with appearing on TV, please refrain from contacting Rachael or Reid, but feel free to tell your friends who might want to join us!)?

When:?Friday , June 15th
Time:?6:30pm-2am (6:30-8:30pm workshop, 9:30pm-2am play party ? you can leave early, if you need to!)
Where:?Beautiful downtown Los Angeles loft space (exact filming location upon RSVP convo with Part2 Pictures? Rachael -?rachael@part2pictures.com
Cost:?Free in exchange for agreeing to be filmed for Part2 Pictures
Limit:?10-15 couples due to space constraints
Whom we?d love to have join us:?Curious couples new to non-monogamy as well as experienced couples
Especially interested in:?Rachael would love to have the film crew feature two newbie couples who are curious about swinging but not yet sold on it. (The show has already filmed two segments with experienced, happy couples in The Lifestyle for years and they?d love to show Swinging as it occurs for a couple new to the Scene)
How the evening will go:
- The workshop and play party will be open to 10-15 couples. Please arrive on time and plan to attend the workshop. You?re welcome to opt out of the Play Party, but since it?s a ?My First Play Party? for the newbies (and the TV show would like to have continuity from the workshop to the play event), our preference is that attendees participate in the workshop to attend the play party.
- After the workshop, we?ll take a quick dinner break for folks nibble on food that?s provided and also get changed into evening wear if they?d like!
- After our dinner break, we?ll close the doors and kick-off the play party with opening ice breakers and ?house rules? and then open the evening to adult frolicking and no-pressure hanging out. You?re free to leave anytime, but please arrive on time so we can all start our evening together!
What they?ll actually film:?Part2 Pictures will document the workshop, which will be R-Rated in nature, frank, informative, and VERY fun!
The Play Party -which will be an actual, adult, explicit, NC-17 event- will also be filmed, but due to the show being aired on a very popular television network, Part2 Picture won?t filming any explicit nudity or adult play. However, they will be capturing the mixing and mingling AND your pleasurable sounds while interviewing those attendees who?d like to appear on camera.
You are more than welcome to attend and not grant an interview, just know that your likeness might appear on film.
You?re also welcome to attend the workshop and play party and just watch ?cause respectful?voyeurism?is participation!
