Description

We are seeking a PhD student to join a research project developing browser-based interactive visualisations for text mining and large document collections. The aim of this project is to develop interactive visualisation approaches that build on advanced text-mining developed at NICTA. The project is a collaboration between the University of Canberra and National ICT Australia, led by Mitchell Whitelaw (UC) and Wray Buntine (NICTA).

The successful candidate will:

? have a background in visualisation, design, UI/UX and/or computer science (more than one of these would be great)
? be technically capable (HTML / JS experience a bonus)
? have experience creating interactive visualisations
? be eligible for PhD admission, with research experience at Honours or Masters level (or equivalent). More information here.
