Former interim UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira still dreams of reaching the top spot in the UFC.
However, if to do so, Nogueira has to fight current UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, that is something ?Minotauro? is not prepared to do.
?Junior dos Santos is my friend,? said Nogueira, during a recent conference call for UFC 153, where he?ll meet Dave Herman. ?We train together. Right now, I don?t want to fight (him). I?m not going to fight (dos Santos); he?s like my brother.?
Nogueira does still hope to compete for the title again, but will need to make a statement against Herman to re-position himself in the rankings.
?If I see an opportunity for a knockout, I won?t let it go,? Nogueira said.
