Summary Box: Dow jumps for 3rd straight day (AP)

EUROPE: The European Central Bank moved to support that region's struggling banks by promising unlimited one-year loans in order to lessen the damage should the Greek government default on its debt. The move was seen as an attempt to prevent another credit crisis.

RETAILERS: Target Corp. and other retailers reported September sales that beat Wall Street's expectations. Analysts said the increases suggest the U.S. economy is continuing to grow.

DOW STREAK: The Dow jumped 183 points to 11,123. It was the Dow's third straight gain of more than 100 points.
